# Social Tipping

> Receive fees allocated to your social accounts

## Overview

Token creators can allocate fees to Twitter, YouTube, or GitHub accounts. If your account is specified, you can claim those fees by verifying ownership.

## Supported Platforms

| Platform      | Input Format | How It's Stored                         |
| ------------- | ------------ | --------------------------------------- |
| **Twitter/X** | @username    | Stored as lowercase username            |
| **YouTube**   | @handle      | Resolved to channel ID at creation      |
| **GitHub**    | username     | Resolved to numeric user ID at creation |

  For YouTube, enter the @handle format (e.g., @channelname). Handles are resolved to permanent channel IDs when the token is created.

## How to Claim

1. Go to [xd.fun/rewards](https://xd.fun/rewards)
2. Click **Connect** for your platform (Twitter, YouTube, or GitHub)
3. Complete OAuth verification
4. Link your Solana wallet
5. View and claim pending tips

## Linking Your Wallet

After verifying your social account, you need to link a Solana wallet to receive funds:

1. Connect your Solana wallet
2. Sign a message to prove ownership
3. Your social account is now linked to that wallet

  You can change your linked wallet at any time by re-linking.

## Finding Tokens That Tip You

The Rewards page shows all tokens that have allocated fees to your verified social accounts, along with:

* Total tips earned
* Pending (unclaimed) amount
* Claim history

## For Creators

When creating a token, add social tips under fee configuration:

* Enter the platform and handle/username
* Allocate a percentage of creator fees
* Recipients can claim without prior arrangement

This is useful for:

* Tipping influencers who promote your token
* Revenue sharing with content creators
* Community rewards
